2013 → Expanded Architecture / A room, an eye

A room, an eye

Expanded Architecture was an artist residency program, exhibition and symposium that was held in The Rocks in Sydney on November 8th, 2013. The program for that year was curated by  Sarah Breen Lovett & Dr Claudia Perre.

A room, an eye was a Camera Obscura that was installed in an upstairs room at 136-138 Cumberland Street in the Rocks and was a collaboration with Dr Ross Anderson and Dr Simon Weir from the University of Sydney, School of Architecture, Design and Planning.

With a run time of 4 minutes, the camera obscura captured a day in the Rocks from sunrise to sunset.
